Aaj TV to launch music channel
Business Recorder Group, that owns Aaj TV, will soon launch a new music channel by the name of Play TV. Aaj TV and Business Recorder newspaper have started advertising compaign of Play TV. Pakistan has already three dedicated music channels Indus Music (by Indus Media Group), The Musik (By ARY TV Network) and Channel G (also by Indus Media Group) while three others are on pipeline by the name of Aag TV (by Geo TV), MTV Pakistan (by Indus TV Network) and Music One (by TV One).
The name Play TV should have been more unique because it will create confusion with India-based TV channel Play TV.
